Glascold Canada

Our company is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. We specialize in the manufacturing of ice blocks for concrete cooling, the lease of ice crushers, as well as the rental of electric refrigerated trailers.
Over the years, we have participated in a number of medium and large scale projects.
We are proud to have supplied the ice and equipment used in the cooling of concrete in most of Québec wind turbine projects over the last 5 years.
The ice and ice crushing equipment used in the construction of the New Samuel-De Champlain Bridge was provided by Glascold Canada, both for the base as well as the pre-fabricated components.
Our Projects

Montreal
The Samuel-De Champlain Bridge is currently one of the busiest bridges in North America. About 50 million cars, trucks and buses pass through it
every year.

Greater Montreal
The REM is the largest public transit project in Quebec in the past 50 years. It is currently under construction.

North Stormonth, Ottawa
The Nation Rise Wind Farm project provides Ontario with 100 MW of renewable energy.

Capitale-Nationale
With 164 turbines for a total of
364 MW, the Seigneurie de Beaupré wind farms represent of the largest wind farms in Canada.
We contributed to the development of the Seigneurie as well as the Côte-de-Beaupré wind farms.
